Microsoft announced that Teams will add an AI feature able to listen to work meetings in real time, detect knowledge gaps or unanswered questions, and automatically post contextual answers to the team's internal chat.
Why it matters
For team leaders, this means fewer follow-up meetings and less friction in internal communication. The AI acts as a support layer that captures the tacit knowledge usually lost the moment a call ends.
The value isn't replacing the conversation, but making sure nothing goes unanswered — that question that pops up mid-meeting and, without this support, simply fades away.
