What is a QuickStart

A QuickStart is a Salesforce implementation with a tight scope: standard configuration, no custom development, no complex migration. The goal: start using Salesforce in 4 weeks and mature from there.

Compressed timeline

  • Week 1: discovery + base configuration
  • Week 2: initial data load + basic flows
  • Week 3: team training + testing
  • Week 4: go-live + adjustments

In scope vs. out of scope

In scope:

  • Sales Cloud or Service Cloud (one)
  • Standard data model
  • Basic reports and dashboards
  • Training for up to 10 users

Out of scope (handled later in evolutionary work):

  • Integrations with external systems
  • Custom Lightning components
  • Large legacy data migration

When NOT to do a QuickStart

If your business has highly custom processes or needs to integrate 5 different systems from day 1, a QuickStart will frustrate you. In that case, a traditional 3-6 month project is the right call.
