The challenge
Banco Galicia needed to strengthen and scale its quality capabilities within a banking environment of high technological complexity, multiple integrations, and continuous evolution of digital products and channels.
The challenge involved working in an integrated way across different tribes and multidisciplinary teams, supporting critical processes — functional and non-functional — over banking platforms, legacy systems, and customer service channels.
The context also required incorporating modern Quality Engineering practices, optimizing coverage, traceability, and validation efficiency across different environments and technologies.
The solution
From Qualis Lab we joined the bank's tribes in an agile way, contributing to both QA and Quality Engineering initiatives.
The engagement included:
- Analysis and design of test cases with both functional and non-functional focus.
- Execution of functional tests.
- Performance and load testing using JMeter.
- API validation with Postman.
- Data and process management over Mainframe and SAP environments.
- Manual testing over ATM and ATM networks.
- Participation in critical validations linked to banking experience and transactional operations.
- Use of artificial intelligence to generate test cases and testing evidence.
The work was carried out collaboratively with development, business, and architecture teams, supporting the technological and operational evolution of several strategic initiatives at the bank.
