The challenge
Genetrics needed to modernize NextLab, its core system for laboratories, clinics, and hospitals, which was built on legacy PowerBuilder-based technologies.
The main challenge was to evolve a platform critical to the business's daily operation toward a modern architecture, while preserving operational continuity and the functional knowledge accumulated over the years.
Modernization involved:

- and preparing the platform to incorporate AI-based capabilities.

From Qualis Lab we supported Genetrics in an end-to-end technology modernization process for NextLab, working together on the platform's functional, technical, and operational evolution.
