The challenge
Urbetrack was in a stage of technological and operational growth where quality was not yet a structural part of the development and delivery processes.
Until then, most validations were done internally, without specialized teams, defined methodologies, or tools specifically oriented to testing and quality assurance.
The main challenge was to progressively build and mature a quality practice that would:
- bring order to validation processes,
- introduce traceability,
- improve test coverage,
- support product growth,
- and create a QA culture integrated into the development cycle.
As the operation grew, so did the need to evolve toward automation and more mature continuous testing practices.
The solution
Qualis Lab started supporting Urbetrack with an initial specialized staffing model, progressively evolving into a consulting and strategic quality partnership.
The work included:
- Definition of testing processes and methodologies.
- Organization of QA practices inside the teams.
- Implementation of test management tools.
- Test case and validation cycle management.
- Continuous operational and methodological support.
- Progressive introduction of automation.
As the operation grew, we also worked on building an automation strategy using Qualis Lab frameworks based on Playwright, enabling a shift toward faster, more scalable, and more sustainable validation schemes.
Over time, the team grew in both capability and scope, supporting Urbetrack's technological and organizational evolution and consolidating quality as a relevant practice inside the development process.
